Compare Rates & Report on Your Estimate Pipeline
Track and compare
Once you're pricing real work, CrewMix has three read-only views that help you watch your book of work — and none of them ever changes an estimate:
- Comparisons (under Library) — diff two agreements or two build-ups year over year to see how wages and burdens drifted.
- Reports (under Estimates) — roll your estimate pipeline up by status, branch, and customer over a date window.
- AI extraction (under Settings) — track how much of your AI allowance you've used this period.
Everything below is computed live from your data — there are no stored totals to go stale.
Compare agreements and build-ups
Open Library → Comparisons to see a year-over-year diff of your rate library. Two tabs:
- Agreements — pick a Baseline agreement and a Comparison agreement, then Compare. Each side is labelled with its name, local, and effective year (so last year's and this year's agreement read as 2025 vs 2026 at a glance). The diff shows every craft's base wage, each benefit component, and the Total package side by side.
- Build-ups — pick two LRBU profiles the same way to compare their tiers, burdens, flat adders, and profit/overhead.
Lines are aligned by name, with explicit New and Removed rows so a craft or component that appeared or dropped never hides inside the numbers. Increases read green, decreases read red, and every dollar is engine-computed — the comparison never reprices anything, it just reads what's already there.
Report on your estimate pipeline
Open Estimates → Reports to roll up the estimates you can see. Filter by Customer, Branch, and Status (Draft / Issued / Archived), and set a From / To date window — an estimate counts when its own date range overlaps the window, which is how you'd think about "work in Q3."
- A totals strip sums the whole filtered set: Estimates, ST / OT / DT hours, Total hours, and Grand total.
- Three roll-ups — By status, By branch, and By customer — each with a share bar so the biggest slices stand out, followed by the estimate-by-estimate detail table.
- Export downloads the current filter as a one-sheet Excel workbook (all matching rows, not just the visible page). See Export estimates to Excel for exporting a single estimate.
Every dollar is engine-computed from each estimate's own rate snapshot — nothing here is stored separately, so the report always matches the estimates behind it. Reports are branch-scoped like the estimates list: you only ever see the branches you have access to.
Keep an eye on AI usage
Open Settings → AI extraction to see how much of your AI allowance you've used. A Usage this period meter tracks imports against your plan's allotment, and a separate Quick estimates meter tracks the Quick Estimate composer. The Extractions tab is a full ledger of every AI run — filter it by provider, model, status, and date.
- Only successful runs on CrewMix's key count against your allotment. A run that failed or that you cancelled never counts, and neither do runs on your own AI key (BYOK).
Good to know
- All three views are read-only — comparing rates or running a report never edits an agreement, build-up, or estimate.
- Because lines align by name, renaming a craft between two agreements shows up as one Removed row and one New row rather than a change — that's expected.
- Reports and comparisons respect your permissions: reports show only the branches you can see, and comparisons read library data, so they're available to anyone who can view the rate library.
