Export Estimates to Excel (Live Formulas)
Two ways to hand it over
Every estimate exports two ways: a live-formula Excel workbook for the people who want to audit the math, and a clean proposal page for the people who just want the number.
Export the workbook
- Open the estimate and click Export Excel.
- The workbook mirrors the grid — headcounts, hours, and rates with real formulas, not pasted values. Change a headcount cell and the totals recalculate in Excel.
- Send it as-is: it opens in Excel, LibreOffice, and Google Sheets.
Share the proposal
- On the estimate form, fill the Proposal section — scope notes, assumptions & exclusions.
- Open the proposal view for a print-ready summary of phases, crews, and totals, and print or save it to PDF from the browser.
Good to know
- Exports reflect the estimate's snapshot — reprice deliberately, never by accident.
- Estimate statuses (draft, sent, won…) help you keep the list honest once proposals start going out.
