Import a Union Schedule A with AI

Upload a union agreement or rate-sheet PDF and let CrewMix's AI extract wages, fringes, and adders into a structured craft rate table you review and confirm.

What you'll need

Your union agreement's Schedule A as a PDF — the pages with the wage and benefit tables. That's it: CrewMix's AI import reads the tables and turns them into craft rate classes you can build on.

Import the PDF

1. In the sidebar, open Library → Agreements.
2. Click Import Schedule A and choose your PDF.
3. Click Import and watch the progress — extraction usually takes under a minute.
4. On the review screen, check the extracted tables against the PDF: every craft, wage, and employer contribution is shown next to a per-table include checkbox, so you can skip anything that doesn't belong.
5. Confirm the import. The agreement lands in your library with its crafts, rate classes, and holidays.

Good to know

• Rates come from the agreement's Total Package — wages plus employer contributions. Employee payroll deductions (dues check-off, vacation withholding) are deliberately excluded.
• The 14-day trial includes 3 AI imports; paid plans include a monthly allowance, and you can plug in your own AI key under Settings → AI at any time.
• No PDF handy? Create the agreement by hand instead — New agreement on the same page — and type the rate classes in.
• Keep the original PDF with the agreement (the Attachments area on its Details tab) and export its full craft-rate table to Excel — both are covered in Advanced rate libraries.
